Q: What does circumcised mean?

A: Circumcision is the process of removing the foreskin from a penis that would otherwise cover the the head of the penis.

This question is so popular lets go through a bit of history on the question of circumcision.

Circumcision is done predominantly in America, and countries which have a large Jewish communities. Prior to the 1880’s, most American males were not circumcised, as the reasons for doing so did not exist. During this period, men with qualifications were treated as Gods, and men like John Kellog (the same guy who invented Kellogs cereals) had such a dislike for masturbation and sex, that he decided to create a cereal product to take peoples minds off sex – oh yeah, like that’s gonna work!!!

John Kellog was so repulsed by the concept of masturbation, that he started to preach that the reason boys masturbate is because they enjoy the feeling of movement from the foreskin on the head of the penis, and to stop this, the foreskin need only be removed. As stated previously, doctors at this time were treated with great respect and extremely influential, and this helped circumcision to become a standard routine operation in the USA.

Cases for the continued use of circumcision include the prevention of cancer or the penis and other reasons, but all these claims cannot be justified and so no medical reason exists for the continued use of this operation. Its worth pointing out however that a doctor in America gets between £100 and £200 ($150 – $300) per circumcision that they perform, I wonder if this has anything to do with the continued implementation of this unjustified medical operation?
